This month’s HKOTM is all about “Welcoming”. We chose to feature Kaitlynn this month because August is very special to her family–it’s the month when, after an extended stay in the hospital following her open-heart surgery, they finally got to bring her home.
Kaitlynn’s family is so good at welcoming. Her mama always has a hello for a newly diagnosed family or a kind word to share when someone needs encouragement. It’s folks like Miss Kaitlynn’s mom who make our private support group a special place, a place that feels like coming home.
